  • Canadian born, British based fashion designer Erdem Moralioglu is celebrated for the wistful, watercolour prints that he designs personally for each collection. Erdem concentrates on making women beautiful.

Erdem has worked his way up to success and began his journey by studying fashion at Ryerson University in Toronto. Later moving to London, he studied at the Royal College of Art before relocating to New York where he worked alongside iconic fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg. With a wealth of experience in his back pocket, Erdem returned to England to launch his own label in 2005.

Not one to follow trends, the designer tell’s BFC his ideal client would be: “...a clever person who probably cares little about seasons. She has a lot of conviction and marches to her own drum."

Especially admired for his enigmatic floral prints, SS14 saw Erdem blossom from print to beautiul embroidery and texture. We were thrilled to see this technique has continued into the FW14 collection.

  • Erdem’s creative visionary with an eye for all things beautiful has won the brand countless accolades. Erdem’s awards include the Fashion Fringe prize of £100,000, the New Establishment Award 2012 and Red Carpet Award 2013.

When talking about the women he dresses, Erdem tells Vogue, “I see each collection as a new chapter in the same book of her life...It's a narrative, but she's still the same core girl: colourful, sweet, elegant and hopefully effortless."

  • Opposed to Erdem's usual affection for colour, FW14 takes on a darker tone. With a deep intensity this collection has once again won applause for its signature womanly designs but also for the reinvented 1960s-couture silhouettes. Playing with tradition and illusion, Erdem uses a mixture of luxurious fabrics such as fur and velvet to create an opulent winter collection. Paying tribute to a more decadent era, delicately cut out details and sheer fabrics give Erdem's FW14 collection a subtle allure and maintains the brands main objective to make women beautiful.

  • Erdem’s Eames Garden trousers and ruffle shirt make a beautiful ensemble for fashion week attire.

From the editors to the models, designers to the photographers, Sager and Wilde proves to be one of the coolest hang outs for fashion week veterans during the busiest time of their year.
